Schacter Orthodontics has been the BEST place for our family’s orthodontic needs. Our third and youngest child just finished treatment, so now all three kids now have great Schacter smiles! This practice is very friendly, efficient, and effective. The docs have magical ways of getting max cooperation from the kids, motivating them to wear those rubber bands and actively participate in their treatment even when they won’t listen to their parents. They had the kids in and out of treatment much faster than any other docs we interviewed projected. They have been a pleasure to work with and always made each child feel special. Schacter Orthodontics pricing was transparent and all-inclusive and competitively priced. And they used different modalities without trying to sell me another product. I felt respected and a critical part of the treatment plan. They were gentle and patient with my noncompliant teenager and encouraging with my eager but anxious 12-year-old. Their office staff is competent and kind. They run on time!!! They have a calm and loving office dog that changes the mood for everyone. They even donated/sponsored my kid's club volleyball team. These are my people! Based on the diversity I see in the waiting room, they are everyone's people!! 4 Kids with Every Issue Possible all with Beautiful Smiles
When my oldest was ready for braces back in August of 2012, I did my research for the best orthodontist around. Went to a few consultations and decided to go with the Schacters for a few reasons: 1) They were honest and direct with the treatment plan and price-no games 2) their experience combined made us feel in good hands 3) their place was always clean and friendly 4) many of our friends referred them! After 4 kids, the last one getting her braces off this summer... my opinion has NOT changed. From referring us to an amazing oral surgeon for impacted teeth, to fixing my youngest Class III without surgery, to enabling each one of them to end up with a beautiful smile, they went above and beyond. BEST orthodontist ever. I went to Dr. Schacter for Invisalign. To begin the search process of finding an orthodontist, I visited 5 different offices in West Hills and Woodland Hills that were covered by Delta PPO insurance. Only Dr. Schacter went through a thorough review of the entire process from start to finish and even drew me a diagram of what's going on with my teeth. Trust me, go to an orthodontist for Invisalign, and definitely go to this one. Do not go to a dentist. It only took less than a year to get my teeth straight as I only had minor crowding. And it was the exact timeline I was told when I began treatment. Dr. Schacter gave great advice about how to take care of my Invisalign aligners and took time to answer all of my questions. He's very knowledgeable. I felt 100% confident in the process throughout the whole time. The office was also transparent from the start about the price. They are very reasonably priced and offer great service so I am just wowed all the way. They offered monthly payments which was great. My Delta PPO insurance covered half of my treatment. If you need anything like extra retainers, Dr. Schacter is so accommodating too. They also offer permanent retainers. Everything about this office was lovely. Professional and friendliest front desk staff and dental assistants. Organized scheduling process. Even when I had to come in last minute they still took the time to see me. They even have a dog there for petting. They give you flowers when you're officially done with your treatment which was soooo nice. He exhibits a combination of profound compassion and admirable patience that sets you at ease- the mark of any truly great physician. When our daughter's dentist initially suggested we see an orthodontist to start planning for braces, she suggested that we go to Schacter Orthodontics - and we're so glad we did! From the first consultation, we knew we were in great hands. We were always clear on the plan and path for our daughter. Dr. Warren Schacter was always thorough and excellent with his communication. Every visit we left understanding where she was in the plan and what was next. Top to bottom, couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a trusted, caring, expert orthodontist and supporting staff this is your place! Dr Schacter came highly recommended by many friends so when our daughter needed braces, we visited Dr Schacter for our consultation. From our first visit, we felt comfortable and knew we were in good hands. Along the journey, Dr Schacter made some tweaks and adjustments to the plan as needed but her timeline stayed on course. I can't rave enough about Schacter Orthodontics. My daughter got her retainer from a highly recommended orthodontist in Beverly Hills, but we got tired of driving over there and decided to try this office instead. What a stroke of luck. Her teeth were fixed in a FRACTION of the time!!! On top of it the office runs efficiently. No wait times and it's easy to schedule appointments. The office staff is friendly and the office is full of fun, whimsical art as well as cool retro games and puzzles. My son also ended up needing braces and so of course Schacter Orthodontics was our first choice. Dr. Warren Schacter took a lot of time in our consultation explaining the options to us and we ended up finding a very cost effective way of treating him. We were also able to make some other cosmetic adjustments without any extra cost. My son actually looked forward to his visits because he enjoyed his conversations with Dr. Schacter. I cannot recommend Schacter Orthodontics highly enough! Both of my kids had excellent experiences working with Drs. Warren and Robert and all of their staff. One child was really complicated and the other simple and both had wonderful experiences here. The doctors are very patient, understanding, and flexible with the kids as well as highly practical with their recommended treatment plans. No need to look any further... the Schacter team is amazing! My daughters both just finished their treatment and their teeth and smiles look fantastic. The entire office has a welcoming, friendly vibe about it! Dr. Warren was always extremely professional, informative and engaging during the treatments, as were all of his assistants and the front office team. Appointments are well scheduled (with helpful text reminders) so we never experienced any long waiting periods. I can’t say enough good things about this office. Both my kids just finished their treatments and couldn’t be happier. The entire process from beginning to end was very professional and well run. Better than that was the feeling that every time we walked into the office, we were more like family than clients. There are also some nice touches for the kids...coins to collect and turn in for fun prizes (ie. Jamba Juice and Starbucks gift cards), the therapy dog that frequents the office and end of treatment gifts that are spot on.
