Limited Treatment

The goal of limited orthodontic treatment is to align the upper and lower front six teeth. Limited treatment typically does not address bite correction, posterior (back tooth) space closure, or significant horizontal, vertical, or transverse dental issues.

Limited treatment is typically performed on adults who prefer to have specific alignment problems addressed rather than undergo comprehensive orthodontic care. It is also takes less time than comprehensive orthodontic treatment (usually six to nine months) and is less expensive.
